So here's how you can create your own custom audio on TikTok in just a few steps:

Step 1 Start the process by pressing the create button at the bottom of the screen to start a new video.

Step 2 Register your video with the sound you want. This sound will become your personalised audio. Be creative: sing a cover of your favourite song, play a musical instrument or perform an imitation.

Step 3 Use the editing options available on the bottom right-hand panels of the screen to fine-tune your audio. You can apply voice effects, add voice-overs or adjust the playback speed to enhance your sound clip.

Step 4 Once you are satisfied with your creation, press the tick to validate and publish your video.

Step 5 Locate your video on your profile and select it to watch. Notice that the video now plays your original sound at the bottom.

Step 6 If you want to use your original sound in another video, press the disc icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
