Xilam Animation is launching a new animated series Karate Sheep on Netflix. It wanted to promote the release of the series to a young audience, especially in the US market with an augmented reality filter available on the social network TikTok.
The TikTok filter was to offer a fun and entertaining filter for a young audience on TikTok. Like a Photobooth, the augmented reality filter allows users to have fun reproducing the same postures as the cartoon characters.

As the Karate Sheep animation series is aimed at a young audience, the promotional campaign focused on TikTok. As a result, a large community was formed and brought more visibility to the TikTok account of the Netflix animated series.

The filter TikTok Karate Sheep has become a trend on TikTok. It has been taken over by Oggy and the Cockroaches as well as Zig and Sharko following the release of the filter. This promotional campaign was very successful for Xliam Animation, generating more than 3 million views thanks to the series' TikTok account.
